Krypton Research is an independent investment research firm built on a simple conviction: the market prices companies for what they used to be, not what they're becoming.
Every category has a moment where the label stops fitting the business. A cable company becomes a networking platform. A meter reader becomes a grid intelligence layer. A biotech IPO becomes a diagnostics infrastructure company. The market is slow to relabel. That gap is where the return lives.
How We Actually Work
We don't start with a company and build a model to justify owning it. We start with a structural theme, something real and underway, and work backward to find the name inside it the market hasn't reclassified yet.
Every piece we publish makes one commitment: we name the falsifier. The specific, testable thing that would prove us wrong, stated up front, not buried. If we're not willing to say what would break the thesis, we don't publish it.
We'd rather be early and specific than consensus and vague.
The Record
Krypton has identified structural mispricings before the market caught up, and closed the positions to prove it. ARM Holdings, initiated ahead of its inference and edge-compute inflection, closed for a gain of over 136%. Regal Rexnord, initiated on the physical-AI motion thesis before the theme had a name, closed for a gain of over 50%.

Built in the Open
Krypton Research started the way independent research is supposed to start now, not inside a bank, in public, on X and Substack, where the work has to earn attention one piece at a time with no institutional name to lean on.
That's still how it works. No sell-side quota to fill, no banking relationship to protect, no incentive to publish a name because a desk needs coverage. Just the thesis, the falsifier, and the price.
